Why Window Pods®?
Standard van curtains are a hassle. They let light bleed in at the edges, they look untidy, and they offer zero insulation. The VanShades Window Pod® system replaces them with a pre-assembled blind and frame unit.
The "Honeycomb" Advantage:
The secret is in the cellular structure. The foil-lined honeycomb blind traps a layer of air between the glass and the van interior. This acts like double glazing—retaining warmth during those cold Welsh winter nights and reflecting the sun to keep the van cool in summer.
Seamless Integration:
Each pod comes pre-carpeted in premium 'Easy Liner' (4-way stretch) to match your carpeted walls. This matches the carpet lining found in most professional conversions, making the blind look like it was installed at the VW factory.

A: These are precision moulded for each van make and model. Please select your specific window location from the drop-down menu (e.g., Sliding Door vs Fixed Panel).
A: Yes. Unlike curtains that require drilling rails, the Window Pod® is a pre-assembled unit. It fixes directly to the metalwork around the window. It covers the cut edge of the carpet lining for a neat finish.
A: Absolutely. By creating a thermal air barrier, it significantly reduces the condensation that typically builds up on single-pane van glass overnight.

Shipped directly to you. Includes the pre-carpeted frame and blind unit ready for you to screw into place.
2. Workshop Fitting
Don't want to drill holes? Bring your van to our South Wales workshop. We can install a full set of Window Pods alongside your furniture build.
